Shawn Mackey, Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual in Irvine, has been providing expert financial guidance for over 18 years. Shawn started with Northwestern Mutual in 1987 as a Financial Representative in Chicago. In 1991, Shawn joined Northwestern Mutual's Irvine office and in 1996 he became its Managing Director. Under his leadership, Northwestern Mutual in Irvine has led all District Network Offices nationally numerous times. Shawn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and later continued his education to earn his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designations. Supporting the community in which we live is important to Shawn Mackey. Shawn has been helping the economic development of the Southern California community through his participation as Executive Committee Board Member for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation. He is also a member of GAMA, the American Association of Advanced Life Underwriters and NAIFA. Shawn resides in Orange County and enjoys spending time with his four children.
